For agricultural crops, it is most important to start with Monty's Mexico Seed Starter applied directly on the seed at planting and then incorporate Monty's Mexico's foliar spray program. Using Monty's Mexico Seed Starter will increase moisture retention around the seed which then increases biological activity for quicker germination and better root development. Monty's Mexico's foliar spray program then maximizes crop performance yielding vigorous, not stress tolerant crops.

Monty’s Mexico's proprietary technology is built around its activated humic substance, "Monty's HUMIGIN"™ which acts as a catalyst providing critical nutrients directly to the cells of plant tissue, and stimulates the soil around the root zone, making available nutrients in a form that can be absorbed through the roots. Monty’s Mexico Liquid Carbon is a soil conditioner and has a very high concentration of our activated humic substance, it does not contain nutrients as does Monty’s Mexico fertilizer (Monty’s Mexico 4-15-12 for root development, and Monty’s Mexico 8-16-8 for foliar feed). Monty’s Mexico Liquid Carbon (MLC) is so effective that a small quantity (5 liters per hectare) will increase the organic matter of many soils within a 2 week period
Monty’s Mexico Liquid Carbon increases the energy in the soil creating a platform for bacteria to help restore the natural microbiological environment; releasing nutrients that have been trapped by salts from the overuse of chemical fertilizers; and by improving the aggregate structure of the soil it allows for the free flow of water, oxygen and carbon dioxide.

We often make reference to the Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC), the higher it is the better the fertility. To explain this, the clay mineral has its effect on soil tilth and fertility through its high cation exchange (CEC) and nutrient carrying potential. Expandable clays have a greater CEC value than nonexpendable clays (100 to 150 as opposed to 10 to 40), and farmers prefer the expandable clays (more elastic, pliable) because of their greater fertility potential. What Monty’s Mexico's activated humic substance does is to create an even greater expandable environment, up to 600, making the soil even more fertile.

Note: Always have a soil sample analyzed by a qualified laboratory before using Monty's Mexico products. Monty’s is activated by the introduction of water. When spraying Monty’s always apply a minimum of 40 liters per hectare. The maximum amount of water to be applied per hectare is 500 liters of water. If water amount is going to be over 500 liters per hectare the amount of Monty’s being applied would be increased by 50 percent.
